A podcast I resurrected from the depths of the Internet Archive that really needs some more analysis, so I transcribed it here and commented on it as well…
To do: Adding links to parts of the interview. Adding commentary to expand on things said that are important and have since come to be. Adding a wrap up that includes why this project is sneakily still the backbone of a possible MEGA-social trust network that includes, yes, blockchain cryptocurrencies. There’s a reason to believe much is still playing out and I will dig into why.

Whose obligations have value to you. So Ripple lets you pick whose obligations are going to trust. Usually we trust banks by the Ripple. It could be anybody. It could be your friends, your family, a company, the store you go to buy food, the company you work for.
